John Kasich speaking at his Inaugural Ball
John Kasich has been an excellent keynote speaker for us for a number of years.
A member of Congress for 18 years, he was elected to the Ohio State Senate in 1978 and to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982. As chairman of the House Budget Committee, Kasich was the chief architect of the plan that balanced the federal budget. He also chaired the congressional committee that overhauled the welfare system.
Additionally, Kasich is a guest lecturer at the Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He also serves as chairman of New Century Project, a national grassroots organization that helps elect leaders who believe in the power of the individual.
Kasich has been named as one of Newsweek magazine's "100 People for the 21st Century." He is the author of the New York Times best-seller, "Courage is Contagious."
We are pleased to congratulate him as Governor.
